Rockdale Ilinden- Premiers 2020

After a tough and gruelling 90 minutes of football, we yesterday came away with a 2-1 win over North Shore Mariners which meant we are, after a long wait, Premiers of the of the NPL.

Our team showed character and courage to come from behind to win the game and seal the premiership.  Our goalscorers were Amaury Gauthier and super sub Alec Urosevski which ultimately proved to be the match winner sending the terraces into raptures.

On a great day for the Club, our under 20’s won 5-2 meaning they too will play semi final football.

Finally, we won the senior club championship with both senior grades qualifying for semi finals.

Our semi final opponents will be Sydney Olympic. Match details to follow.
